This is, of course, a chaotic and disruptive process — I agree. Yet I’d also argue that there’s a vast chasm between passively seeing what unfolds and actively navigating through the chaos. From a business perspective, this can make the difference between failure and success. But more broadly, the agility to navigate around “orphan risks” reduces the chances of humanity making an utter and complete mess of the future!
